Report Predicts A Growing Market For Biofuels

A report released by the Pike Institute predicts an expanding market for biofuels.  The report sets the values of the current world market for biofuels at over $100 million dollars per year, but predicts the market value will surpass $280 billion dollars per year by 2022, in large part to national consumption mandates and global policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  The report also places the worldwide compound annual growth rate for biodiesel at 15 percent from 2009 to 2022.
