NHTSA Head Anticipates CAFE Standards To Be Strengthened

The Detroit News reported that outgoing NHTSA head Nicole Nason has indicated that the auto industry should anticipate that CAFE standards will continue to be strengthened.    She acknowledged that there is a significant expense to automakers  to increase fuel efficiency, but does not feel that the NHTSA has been overly aggressive with fuel standards to date.  To read the article, click here.
