EPA Makes TSCA Chemical Inventory Available to Public

U.S. EPA has made public portions of the Toxic Substances Control Act Chemical Substance Inventory available to the public online and free of charge. The inventory lists approximately 65,000 industrial chemicals manufactured, used or imported in the U.S. The publicly-available portions do not include the approximately 17,000 chemicals claimed as Confidential Business Information under TSCA reporting requirements. Until now, the Inventory was only available for purchase.
