The October 5th ILSAC proposal for Sequence IIIG and Sequence VID limits was voted and rejected with members voting as follows:
Two: For
Three: Against
One: Waive
An Oil Marketer counter proposal with lower IIIG and VID limits was also voted on and rejected with members voting as follows:
Two: For
Two: Against
Two: Waive
Oil marketers provided a compromise for consideration with increased Fuel Economy to the October 5th Sequence VID limits. ILSAC is considering this compromise.
The next ILSAC/OIL meeting date and time are still being determined.
