Summary Report ESCIT Subcomittee Meeting03/20/2008 A meeting of the Emission Systems Compatibility Improvement Team (ESCIT) that reports to ILSAC/OIL was held on March 20th. The results of the meeting are summarized below. ESCIT supports a proposal to improve ICP measurements and involve the Test Monitoring Center (TMC). ESCIT supports a proposal to ensure Sequence IIIG ICP data is updated on the TMC website to reflect more recent data which may include a severity shift. An ESCIT Method Calculation Selection Ballot has been issued to members to determine which CALCULATION OPTION is preferred: Phosphorous Retention or Phosphorous Loss. Additionally, a presentation was made recommending calculating phosphorous volatility at 100 hours and 20 hours in the Sequence IIIG test.
